In today's
complex world, God's counsel is desperately needed. God has
provided everything necessary for us to know Him and to live in a
way that pleases Him. God promises to bless those who obey His
instructions in the Bible. The one who follows God's instructions
can have hope, contentment, and answers to handle all the pressures
of life. God's Word is sufficient to answer the problems of life,
and God’s Word is superior to any other source of counsel.
All our Biblically-based counseling services are provided for
families and individuals, Premarital and marriage counseling for
couples, Financial counseling, Crisis counseling, Career and Life Coaching,
all for free. Counseling sessions are available on most Monday
evenings by appointment only. Other appointments may also be
arranged. Normal counseling sessions are one hour in duration for
approximately ten to twelve weeks. The length of the sessions may
be shortened or lengthened depending on the progress made.
All sessions are confidential except where, in the counselor's
judgment, there is a Biblical requirement to involve others, for
example, in the case of criminal activity. Homework assignments
will be made each week, these assignments are to be completed
before the next session. Completing this work ensures a lasting
change, so the assignments must be faithfully completed in order to
continue counseling.
