Grace Baptist Praise Band
|
Our praise band is a
wonderful addition to our worship service. The musicians give an
excitement that lifts our sprits and praises God with contemporary
spiritual songs. Our praise band also enables more people to use
their gifts to glorify God. Grace Baptist Church has a wonderful
Praise Band that plays every Sunday evening and some Sunday mornings. Please come and join
our members in lifting up and exalting the name of Jesus Christ and
hear the musical worship to Him. |

We exist to glorify God and
provide the hour for true worshippers to honor God in spirit and in
truth. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; For such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24 I. Our desire is to make music with those who are growing more like Christ By: † Being above reproach † Living examined lives II. To stir up worship and focus upon God in the Sunday evening service By: † Sharing music that focuses on God’s Word † Being prepared for worship through practice and prayer † Singing a new song It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High. Psalm 92:1 III. To equip others in the body of Christ to serve in the music ministry by: † Including a broad spectrum of musicians from the Body of Christ † Developing background musicians And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; Ephesians 4:11-12 |
