NIV
17:8 - A bribe is a charm to the one who gives it; wherever he turns, he succeeds.
19:6 - Many curry favor with a ruler, and everyone is the friend of a man who gives gifts.
21:14 - A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.
22:16 - He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich--both come to poverty.
