| 2:7 - He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, | |
| 2:8 - for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. | |
| 2:9 - Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path. | |
| 3:11 - My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, | |
| 3:12 - because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. | |
| 10:29 - The way of the Lord is a refuge for the righteous, but it is the ruin of those who do evil. | |

| 2:8 - Guarding the paths of justice, and He preserves the way of His godly ones. | |
| 2:9 - Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity and every good course. | |
| 3:11 - My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD or loathe His reproof, | |
| 3:12 - For whom the LORD loves He reproves, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. | |
